The RURAL (Risk Underlying Rural Areas Longitudinal) Cohort Study aims to address critical gaps in our knowledge of heart and lung disorders in rural counties in the southeastern United States.

Thanks to your continued engagement, we are making strong progress toward our recruitment goals! To reach our targets, we still need 327 additional MEU exams in Boyle County and 229 in Garrard County. Every completed exam moves us closer to healthier communities.
