Through our entire history, we have been blessed with all types of support for our ministry. Most assume it is either financial support or continued prayer, but there have been other methods. Dean Junker, brother of Diane Junker, who has served on our Board of Directors for many years. Dean raises cows in Iowa and this year he donated 3/4 of a cow to us at Riverwood. This is huge for our residents as it will provide meat for quite a while. Those of you that do the grocery shopping will understand the significance and cost savings involved. Gary recently drove to Iowa to collect the meat and bring it back to Riverwood. We will forever be thankful for those who look for ways to better the lives of our family at Riverwood, evidence that the hands and feet of God are at work around us.
