We are especially honored to celebrate our very own Melanie, who served as this year’s Walk Ambassador. Melanie’s story is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. After both her father and stepmother were diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, she was inspired to make a career change - leaving her teaching profession to join Dominion Senior Living and dedicate her life to supporting seniors and families facing memory care challenges.

Melanie’s compassion and advocacy embody our mission to honor God through service to seniors. We are so proud of her leadership, her courage, and the difference she continues to make every day. 💜

We’re incredibly proud of our Campus Community Relations Director, Melanie, who was recently featured on TV as the ambassador for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s is deeply personal for her — her father, a beloved resident of our community, is living with the disease, and she recently lost her stepmother to it. Her journey through these experiences inspired her to make a meaningful career change and dedicate herself to helping others who are walking a similar path.

We’re honored to have her share her story and her heart with all of us. 💜

☕👮‍♂️ We loved hosting Coffee with Cops at Dominion Senior Living of Louisville! Our residents enjoyed great conversation, laughter, and connection with our local officers. 💙

We are so thankful to our local police department for taking the time to visit, listen, and share stories with our residents. Events like this remind us how important it is to feel safe, supported, and connected. 💙
