The way looks at me while I walk away makes me feel like the Glute workouts are working 😂👏🏽🍑 (SWIPE)

So in love and grateful for this man and can’t wait to see what else life has in store for us. It’s not an anni post, but with a New Year rolling around and lots of big dreams and goal in sight, I’m looking forward to keeping on in life with my love.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be starting a new workout split this week. 🤗

I will be following a 2x exercise: 1x rest schedule.

I am incorporating some weight lifting exercises and some cardio to ease back into a fitness routine again. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone and my exercise routine is definitely one of those things.

Todays hike was so refreshing and I’m so grateful for finding it for me 💖 Can’t wait for another one!

Turkey Trot 🦃

26 is running with a pain patch on your back on a treadmill because the Santa Ana winds are so brutal (after you’ve taken a 3-week break from exercise)

My goal was under 30 min and I just made it. It was painful and hard. I miss the days that and I would hit lots of miles together.

Today I am thankful for the health I do have, the friends I have made through sport, and the opportunity to climb another mountain.

I am thankful for a job that helps me help others coaching athletes of all others.

I am thankful for the certifications I’ve studied for and received and am hoping to mark another one off of my list today 🤞🏼

I am thankful for you, watching me ebb and flow and find my own balance with exercise in hopes to motivate you to do the same 💖

HEALTH IS WHOLESOME 🫀🫁🧠👀

Here’s your reminder that seeking a healthier lifestyle is an inside job first. In order to achieve your goals, you have to first make that decision.

Then, you have to ask yourself what areas of your life are not aligning with that goal?
For me, it’s that I shouldn’t be working in bed at 11pm or staying up too late to finish the Marvel series (but I want to!!!)

It is also my personal choice to not only eat foods that will help me reach an aesthetic goal, but rather will help me feel good from the inside out- foods that will help better replenish my energy and even transform rejuvenate my cells.

Water, a lot of water, all the time. Yes I have to p*e a lot- I am hydrated… try it. Feels great. (Your muscles NEED it and so do your organs- badly)!

And then a privilege check… I’m aware that I GET to make these decisions every day. I GET to choose what food goes into my body, IF I want to watch TV at the end of the night, IF I want to exercise and what type of exercise I want to do. There a millions of people around the world who don’t have this opportunity and as someone who does, I am doing my best to own my part in it and hopefully one day be able to share what I’ve learned with those who haven’t had the same chance. ✨

I hope today that you can look at your life in a wholesome view and find ways that you can shift your mindset to match your goals and help others do the same in the process 😊
