Welcome to the Atria Senior Living Facebook Community, which is owned and operated by Atria Senior Living (“Atria” or “We”). We encourage engagement on the Atria Senior Living page to learn more about our company, communities, services and various related topics. To encourage a community where participants share, learn and contribute to the conversation, we have developed detailed guidelines below, which we ask you to read and follow. Community Participation
We invite comments on Atria’s social media sites because we believe that open conversation and sharing experiences is conducive to learning and enriching lives. Please comment, like and share posts that you find interesting. However, please note that you participate at your own risk, and you take personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided or made available on the page. Comment Moderation Guidelines
We strive for a community that is safe for participants to express their opinions and also tolerant of differing opinions. In other words, we expect that community participation will be respectful and civil. Our guidelines below are a starting point for determining what is and is not appropriate discourse. While we do not monitor every piece of User Content posted to the Atria page, status updates, posts or timeline, we expect that users will not post any materials that violate our guidelines. We reserve the right, in our discretion, to delete postings, mark content as spam, or block users who post material that is inappropriate for a positive and safe environment, including:
1. Comments and wall posts that are not clean or considered obscene. This includes innuendos and messages that imply inappropriate topics/language.
2. Personal attacks or vulgar, abusive, offensive, threatening or harassing language of any nature. This includes creative spellings of swear words using asterisks or spaces between words.
3. Comments that promote, foster or perpetuate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual identity or orientation.
4. Abusive or harassing personal attacks on individuals, employees, residents, family members, or any member of this community.
5. Comments that contain sexual content or links to sexual content.
6. Comments that promote or advertise a person or a business or commercial transaction that is unrelated to Atria Senior Living.
7. Any comments that falsify the origin or source of content, software or other materials contained in a file that is uploaded.
8. Posting the same content multiple times. Subsequent postings of identical information may be viewed as spam and deleted.
9. Comments that promote or oppose any person campaigning for election to a political office or that promote or oppose any ballot measure.
10. Comments or posts that disclose information that is required to be kept confidential by law or administrative rule.
11. Comments that provide detailed personal information about yourself or someone else, particularly medical or financial information or information which could be used by identify thieves.
12. Material that could be considered an infringement of the rights of others, including rights of publicity or privacy, contract rights, or intellectual property rights such as copyrights.
13. Posts relating to specific customer service issues. If you have a specific customer service need, we welcome your feedback, but such matters should be addressed with our customer service team by contacting us at: customerservice@atriaseniorliving.com. We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment immediately, and we encourage our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or contact us so that we may consider whether the content should be removed or if other action should be taken at our discretion. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Atria has designated a Copyright Agent to receive notice of claims of alleged copyright infringement on the site. Remember that this is a public forum, so please use caution in deciding what to post. Any information posted here is considered public information and may be subject to monitoring, moderation or disclosure to or by third parties. Atria does not typically share individual user information with unaffiliated third parties; however, Atria will disclose user information as required by law or in circumstances where, in Atria’s sole discretion, it believes the comments indicate a situation that could be illegal, harmful, or dangerous to persons or property. Reviews posted should be indicative of a personal experience and any comments or updates to reviews should provide relevant updates and not information that has already been provided.
