❤️💙 Today we honor all the little warriors and heart families on CHD Awareness Day.1 in 100 babies are born with a congenital heart defect, each one a true fighter.We carry in our hearts all the angels who gained their wings too soon, including Baby Brian’s uncle, who passed away as an infant in the 80s because of CHD, specifically HLHS. We are grateful we chose life for Baby Brian, and we are prepared to fight alongside him every single day he is breathing. 💪✨To every CHD warrior, family, and angel, you are never alone. 💕

We’re beyond grateful to everyone who participated in our sweet boy’s birthday fundraiser benefiting Brave Hearts at Norton Children's Norton Children's Hospital 💙

Thanks to your love, kindness, and generosity, we were able to deliver all the donations to the hospital last week — and it meant so much to us and to the families this program supports. 💛

A very special thank you to Alfonso and Catherine from Grand Lion Event Center for hosting the book drive and birthday celebration at their venue. You both went above and beyond — the decorations were beautiful and the theme was absolutely perfect! 🎈📚 We’re so grateful for the love and effort you poured into making the day so special.

And to all the amazing families who showed up to celebrate with us — even in the rain — thank you for your presence, your support, and your hearts. It meant the world to us. 💓

It is the last day of the month and we are wrapping up baby Brian’s birthday fundraiser for Norton Children's Hospitals, Brave Hearts Foundation. Big THANK YOU to everyone that has contributed in anyway! We have been trying to post this “unboxing” video to talk about some of the great things that people have donated for the hospital but the phone cut off at some point and never got us unboxing lol it also fell at some point so it’s kind of funny. If anything you will see baby Brian in action and we’ll be talking about this cause. It’s a long video but we have included photos of the party and his first birthday cake smash! It’s not too late to participate if you’d like to send anything we plan on turning things in next week.

We wanted to give a special thanks to everyone that attended Brian’s birthday and provided services!! Your love and support is greatly appreciated and this year has been a dream come true thanks to so many loving hearts!

Baby Brian hopes everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend! Our little Cupid has been busy these past few days, celebrating both his birthday and Valentine’s Day—spreading love and melting hearts along the way. He fills our hearts with joy every single day! Grateful to God for keeping him happy and healthy!
Will update everyone on the status of our Brave Hearts efforts and his birthday! In the meantime, check these out and let us know which ones your favorite!

Baby Brian is officially one year old today! It’s a day filled with so many emotions. A year ago, we were in survival mode, holding onto hope and prayers that our little boy would one day come home. And now, here we are—celebrating our beautiful, happy, and thriving one-year-old!

Today was extra special—he got his first haircut, attended a few appointments, and even had his very first cake smash! We can’t wait to share pictures soon. We are beyond grateful to God and to everyone who has been cheering him on since day one. Thank you for being part of his journey and HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BRIAN!

We forgot to share Baby Brian’s 11 month milestone photos! As you can see he’s on the move which makes it hard but we got some haha! He’s gotten so big and getting fast and sharp. He still going to PT & OT with great results. He finally started clapping 👏 loves to play with water bottles, the remote and his little DJ table. He’s crawling everywhere, creeping and pulling to stand. He has 2 teeth at the bottom and now 2 peeking through at the top. We suspect there may be 4 coming at the same time so lots of teething snuggles happening. He’s loving food including solids!

12 months is just around the corner and although we want to slow time down, we are excited! Huge thanks to those of you that have already contributed toward his birthday Brave Hearts book and supplies drive! We are excited to see those packages arrive knowing they will make a difference for so many heart families!

Monday was baby Brian's 11 month anniversary and we are less than a month away from him turning 1!! Since we were in the hospital we vowed to dedicate his birthday to the CICU or do something special for other heart families and with his birthday being during heart month it just makes even more sense.
We hope you can help us celebrate by supporting the Brave Hearts organization that makes a difference for so many families living with a CHD. We are running a book & supplies drive from now through the end of February. We will share a link with suggested items but because it will all go to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Norton Children's Hospital everything must be new.
