We keep it easy.
We keep it simple.
We keep many foods as staples or repeat weekly because it limits the decision making process. I know what works and like to stick with it!

New Study: Fatigue Is the #1 Perimenopause Symptom (Not Hot Flashes) | Women 35+ Need to Hear This

A recent study on women in perimenopause (late 30s–early 40s) just confirmed something many of us already knew…
👉 The #1 reported symptom was NOT hot flashes.
It was:�1️⃣ Fatigue / exhaustion�2️⃣ Irritability�3️⃣ Anxiety
Hot flashes? Not even the top concern.
This is important — because for too long, women have been told that unless they’re experiencing hot flashes, their symptoms aren’t “serious enough” to be addressed.
But the reality is:�Perimenopause often starts around age 35, and the symptoms show up long before hot flashes ever do.
So if you’re experiencing:�• Constant fatigue�• Mood swings or irritability�• Increased anxiety�• Poor sleep�• Weight gain
…and you go to your doctor and feel dismissed, or the first line of defense is an antidepressant — you have options.

These are providers who have done the additional training and continuing education to properly understand and treat women in perimenopause and menopause — not just rely on “normal” lab ranges.

She Thought It Was Anxiety… It Was Perimenopause | A Real Client Story (Women 35+)

This is a real day in the life of a nutrition coach working with women 35+ — and a story I see far too often.
A client came to me struggling with:�• Increased anxiety�• Severe sleep issues�• Mood swings, rage, and irritability�• Weight gain�• Low energy and patience

She had been going back and forth with her GP and was prescribed multiple antidepressants…

But instead of helping, they made things worse:�❌ Fatigue�❌ Nausea�❌ Headaches�❌ No improvement in sleep or mood
So she stopped and reached out for help.

What was really going on?
Her symptoms were classic early perimenopause — something that is often overlooked or misdiagnosed.

What we did:
✔️ Referred her to her GYN to discuss progesterone support (100mg)�✔️ Focused on improving sleep first (everything builds from there)�✔️ Added targeted supplements to support her nervous system and hormones�✔️ Encouraged her to get on the waitlist for a NAMS (North American Menopause Society) practitioner
While waiting:�✔️ We rebuilt lifestyle foundations�– Daily movement�– Morning sunlight�– Step goals�– Strength training�– Nourishing, balanced nutrition
Because supplements and hormones help…�but lifestyle is what sustains the results.

She feels like a completely different woman.
