RX take back tomorrow! Looks like it will not be raining so we will be out front. Just pull up to the front of Clay County Hospital and Medical Clinics main entrance. You will see us!

This Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Clay County Hospital.

* We will be only having the drug take back once a year now.
* We can take sharps but they must be separate so we can put them in sharp containers to be taken to the Health Department.
* All medications collected will be delivered to the DEA for destruction.
* We cannot take inhalers, v**e pens, liquids, or illegal drugs.

Successful RX Drug Take Back Day!

Approximately 278 pounds of RX medications were collected in Clay County to be incinerated by the DEA! Also 4-5 containers of sharps were collected which will be disposed of by the Health Dept.

Thank you to the Clay County Sheriffs Office, Flora Police Department, Clay County Hospital, Clay County Health Department, and Clay County Probation Department.

Tomorrow is the RX drug take back at the Clay County Hospital. We will be set up by the main entrance so you don’t even have to get out of your car.

It is the time again! Drug take back Friday October 25th from 10 am to 1 pm at the Clay County hospital.

Successful Drug Take Back Day
CADA had another successful drug take back day in Clay County on April 26, 2024.

🌟Approximately, 142 pounds of old medications were collected, and 11.6 pounds of sharps were collected.🌟

Thank you to the Clay County Hospital for providing a location for our take back and advertising.
Thank you to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for providing a deputy during the take back and for transporting the medication to the DEA to be destroyed.
Thank you to the Flora Police Department for providing an Officer.
Thank you to the Clay County Health Department for taking care of the sharp containers.
Thank you to all the community for stopping by. Hopefully, we will see you again in October!

Prescription drug take back this Friday at the Clay County Hospital. 10 am to 1 pm

We will have small sharp containers available while supplies last with drop off at the Clay County Health Department.

This past Friday we collected 55 pounds of prescription drugs which will destroyed by the DEA. If you missed us this Spring, we will be back this Fall.
