Health Bound Massage Welcome to the Health Bound Massage FB page! HB is a client centered massage practice. HB is client centered, meaning that no massage is one size fits all.

We offer deep tissue, Swedish, hot stones, cupping, CBD massage and prenatal. My name is Emily and I have owned Health Bound Massage for almost four years. I have been practicing and licensed for almost 15 years across Louisville and Southern Indiana. It is with great excitement that I get to announce that expansion of the business is set to commence on Sept the 1st 2024! Although still operated and ran by one person, I look forward to welcoming new and passionate massage therapists to the Lyndon location! You are unique and so your massage should be tailored to fit you. Not only does HB value education and practiced skill, we value listening and observation skills as well. How you walk and use your body to communicate can indicate areas of distress and what you tell your therapist the day you have your massage is just as valuable. We strive to listen to what you need and use our skills and knowledge to help you get the most out of your massage. Services: 30, 45, 60, and 90 Minute Sessions Available.

I’m writing to share an upcoming update to service pricing at Health Bound Massage. As my practice continues to grow, I periodically review my pricing to ensure it reflects the quality of care, experience, and attention provided in each session.

Effective May 1st, updated pricing will be as follows:

Massage Therapy
• 30-minute massage — $60
• 45-minute massage — $85
• 60-minute massage — $95
• 90-minute massage — $135

Specialty Massage
• 60-minute hot stone massage — $115
• 90-minute hot stone massage — $150
• 60-minute lymphatic drainage cupping massage — $115
• 90-minute lymphatic drainage cupping massage — $150

CBD Therapy
• 60-minute CBD massage — $115
• 90-minute CBD massage — $160
• 60-minute CBD + hot stone therapy — $135
• 90-minute CBD + hot stone therapy — $170

Starting in April, we will now be open:

Wednesdays | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

In addition to current operating hours.

These evening appointments are available to book online through our website.

As our business continues to grow, we look forward to expanding our evening availability even further.

News and Availability

We are a growing business! Thanks to our incredible and loyal clients, Health Bound Massage has continued to expand over the years. As many of you know, Emily has gradually reduced her personal massage schedule over the past year due to an ongoing injury. While she will continue seeing clients in a limited capacity, she is thoughtfully transitioning more deep tissue work to her skilled team over the coming years.

Emily remains fully involved in the growth and excellence of Health Bound and will be leading monthly in-house training sessions to ensure every therapist continues delivering the high level of care, technique, and client experience you’ve come to expect.

With that growth, we are excited to introduce the newest member of the Health Bound team…

We are excited to welcome Karen to the Health Bound staff. Karen is a graduate of Lexington Healing Arts Academy and has been practicing massage therapy for five years. She holds certifications in prenatal massage, hot stone therapy, lymphatic drainage, and deep tissue work, bringing both versatility and clinical skill to our practice.

Karen will be joining us on Saturdays and will gradually expand into weekday availability. Many of our clients have already experienced the quality of her work, and we are confident she will continue to provide the thoughtful, therapeutic care you expect at Health Bound. She is excited to grow her roots here and serve our community alongside the rest of our team.

Karen, Emily and Dan are all bookable for selected services on our website at the link below.

Please remember the waitlist is always available as every week we usually have cancellations. If you do need to cancel please let us know within a couple days of the appointment so that we can maximize our schedule and stay booked. We appreciate it!

Scale:
The new pressure scale helps you understand what to expect when booking with a specific therapist. Level 1 represents the lightest pressure, while Level 5 is the deepest.

Level 1–2: Very light, superficial work. Level 1 is similar to a gentle effleurage, like applying sunscreen. Level 2 is slightly heavier, but still light.

Level 3: Moderate pressure that begins to manipulate soft tissue and mobilize joints at a deeper level.

Level 4–5: The deepest pressure. At this level, the therapist may use fists, forearms, elbows, or tools, and may incorporate body weight to achieve the desired depth of deep tissue therapy.

Don't miss out! Schedule a 60 or 90 minute massage with our newest team member, Whitney! Whitney is a deep tissue therapist who is dual licensed as a nurse in the state of KY. She loves helping others with holistic approaches that aim for whole body therapy. Don't overlook the opportunity to get to know her work!
