This 17-year-old boy has been living with T1D for the past 7 years. For much of that time, he was misdiagnosed & placed on the wrong treatment, which worsened his condition. He was even advised to seek care outside the country, and as a result, he dropped out of school & lost hope.

When he finally came to our hospital, we ran the necessary tests and correctly diagnosed him with T1D. He immediately began insulin therapy—and his life changed. Today, he is receiving his medications free of charge and he is feeling healthier, has returned to school, and regained his confidence.
