Welcome to UofL Health Midwives, a supportive community for expectant parents and individuals interested in midwifery care! This group is a safe space to ask questions, share experiences, and learn more about women's health, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care from a midwifery perspective. The services we offer are: prenatal/ labor delivery/postpartum care, family planning, birth control counseling and management, gynecologic exams, pap smears, breast exams, preventative health screenings, gender-affirming care, hormone therapy, infertility issues, abnormal bleeding, perimenopause/menopause and STI testing. Our goal is to provide education, encouragement, and support as you navigate your unique journey. Whether you’re considering midwifery care or already working with a midwife, this group is here to empower you. Please keep discussions respectful, supportive, and confidential. We’re excited to be a part of your journey!
