On this day 24 years ago, nearly 3,000 people were killed and more than 6,000 others were injured in the attacks on the World Trade Center. This was a day that forever changed our lives in the United States. Today, we honor those that lost their lives.

For our fellow UofL Health veterans who were serving our country and those that were providing medical care and emergency services on this day, we thank you for your service. Your dedication to our country, our neighbors and our friends facing this tragedy will never be forgotten.
