The Hope for Life Foundation In the spring of 2013, we established the Hope of Shades Foundation, a not-for-profit organization devoted to raising money for eating disorder treatment.

In 2024, we changed the name to The Hope for Life Foundation, but our mission remains the same. Currently there are up to 24 million men and women who suffer with some type of eating disorder, but only 10 % of them receive treatment. In the spring of 2013, we established the Hope of Shades Foundation, a not-for-profit organization devoted to raising money to pay for eating disorder treatment for t

hose who cannot afford it. If you or anyone you know has been touched by the pain of eating disorders, you know how devastating food addiction can be. Anorexia, bulimia, and compulsive overeating destroy the lives of those suffering from the disease, and make the people who love them feel hopeless.
