I am delighted to share another transformative experience in Sedona, AZ, where I facilitated a mini retreat designed to release emotional obstacles and cultivate personal growth.

The group engaged in hikes through breathtaking red rock scenery, navigating challenging terrain and comfort zones to emerge with enhanced confidence and a deeper understanding of their capabilities.

The retreat culminated in a powerful closing ceremony at Walker Marchal's ranch, featuring a contemplative walk on The Sacred Path, a Labyrinth walk, and a Shamantic Fire Ceremony that evoked profound emotions and insights.

Join me for Reiki I certification!

I will introduce the foundational principles and practices of Reiki energy healing. In this level, I will teach the history of Reiki, basic energy concepts, and hand positions for self-healing and treating others. The certification includes an attunement that opens the practitioner to Reiki energy, empowering them to begin a personal healing practice and support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

To honor the final full moon of the Year of the Snake and release what no longer serves us, I facilitated a private ceremony rooted in intention and presence.

We began by grounding and setting intentions, writing down what we were ready to release. This was followed by a Reiki-infused sound bath and guided meditation. We closed the ceremony by burning our intentions, sealing the experience with a heart-opening cacao ritual. A delicious, nourishing lunch rounded out the gathering, offering space to integrate and connect.

Hello friends! Let me introduce myself. I am Sue Aveni. I have been a horse girl since childhood and a full-time professional farrier for nearly 20 years. I have always heard what animals have to say and known what they think. I was about six years old when I realized that not everyone could communicate with animals like I could.

In 2017, I saw a flyer at the yoga studio where I began taking classes. It was for a Reiki I certification. I immediately signed up, even though I didn’t know what it was. On the day of the certification, when I parked my car, I thought I had better Google what Reiki was. Wow, energy work! Who knew? So that day began my energy alchemy journey. I never intended for it to become another career; it just evolved into that.

Reiki gave me peace and comfort. I started noticing subtle changes in my confidence and what I wanted in life. I have gone through several certifications and am a Reiki Master as well as an Animal Reiki Master. I am a Certified Sound Practitioner and Certified Life Coach as well. I incorporate other energy modalities for a unique practice.

I enjoy horses, of course, hiking and just about anything outdoors. Adventures of all kinds are always finding me. I am a Washington Capitals fan and my new love is flying.

Together with my friend Judy Buchanan, we facilitate retreats in Sedona, AZ (April 26 aMay 2, 2026) and Mt Shasta, CA (August 9-15 2026), as well as workshops and private sessions for humans and animals.
