Natural Necessities - Aromatherapy & Herbal Personal Care After making and using herbal and aromatherapy products for myself and family, Natural Necessities was started to share these body care products with others.

Natural Necessities offers handcrafted, aromatherapy personal care products; conducts educational workshops: performs consultations with individuals; offers wholesale opportunities to businesses, and participates in events. I have experienced firsthand the benefits of herbs and essential oils. I am a NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and AIA (Alliance of International Aromatherapists) Certified Aromatherapist. I work with clients through consultations to prepare custom blended products to address their specific needs or issues. I grow many of my own herbs. I only use therapeutic, pure essential oils, from extremely, reputable suppliers. My handmade products not only serve necessary purposes, but therapeutic ones, as well! Why hello Darlene, our Village of Lovingston’s natural personal care product guru! Darlene started Natural Necessities - Aromatherapy & Herbal Personal Care in 2016 but opened her shop location in 2024. She opened Natural Necessities because our community encouraged her to share her natural alternative personal care products at affordable prices. Darlene offers a huge selection of wellness creams, essential oils, aroma jewelry, diffusers, personal care products, organic cosmetics and skincare, herbal teas, candles, soaps and so much more. She also conducts workshops to empower others to make their own products, safely. Darlene has lived in Nelson County her whole life and she thoroughly enjoys the small town environment and believes that the has so much potential to grow and thrive. In her spare time, Darlene is passionate about her faith, her family and, of course, her business. After making and using herbal and aromatherapy products for myself and family, Natural Necessities was started to share these personal care products with others. I have experienced firsthand the benefits of herbs and essential oils.

I am a NAHA (National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) and AIA (Alliance of International Aromatherapists) Certified Aromatherapist. I am also the Virginia State AIA Representative.

I work with clients through consultations to prepare custom blended products to address their specific needs or issues, in addition to offering some wonderful, handcrafted plant-based products on the Natural Necessities website.

I also, offer wholesale products to businesses; conduct educational workshops, and participate in various events.
