Another amazing dinner. These are always the highlight of my weekends. The Vetu de Blanc dinner is always a must go to every season. Everyone dressed in white, tent decorated in white with lots of lights, just beautiful 😍.

It is important to know your farmer and where your food comes from. Thank you and Darren Swank for sharing your magical farm with us. See you again at the farmers markets and the next season of dinners. ❤️

As you get older, there are many shifts. Shifts in mindset, values, quality vs quantity. And you value more time connecting with people who are part of your life. Am so grateful I got to catchup with last night. I always try to connect with someone I know when I travel for work. It doesn't always work out, but when it does it's always so worth it. Make the time to do what speaks to your ❤️. Grateful for our friendship, Kelly. Next time, GA!

A great vist with my parents and nephew this weekend. Highlight of the weekend was going to to see their scarecrow display. And getting to play around with this goofball. Don't worry, no wine was consumed by my nephew 😂

Yesterday was my second Gotcha Day! I am pretty sure this one will be the last one. I am super friendly and my parents and brothers really like me. I am 4 mos old, and my mother was rescued in Puerto Rico, and I was born . I was adopted but then sent back a few weeks later because my owner couldn't take care of me (something about being pregnant with a human baby). Anyway, will you help my parents pick my name...here are the contenders:

My mom says this is the last puppy and will be the one tithes will ever hqve three 🐕, but they are pretty excited! ❤️

Yesterday was my Gotcha Day! I'm not sure what that is, but so far, I am adjusting well in my new home with my older brother. I am told I was born in Puerto Rico, but I have been staying the last four months till my mommy and daddy found me and took me home with them. They are calling me Diego, so I guess that is my new name. I think they love me already. I am warming up to them, too. ❤️

It's been an up and down week. Last week, I was in Thomasville, GA. visiting my parents and my sisters and half brother. Got to spend a lot of time with this little guy, my nephew. Love him and them all so much! On my way home, I stopped to see my dad in Lake Wales and spend a little time with him before heading back 🏡.

Unfortunately, I had to travel back up to Winter Haven today, as my dad fell yesterday and was admitted to the hospital. He is pretty roughed up, spent the night outside on the ground in 50 degree temps until someone found him in the morning. He is lucky to be alive. My relationship with my dad has been a very rocky road and my half siblings are estranged from him. There are many things I wish he would have done or said growing up, but I learned you can either accept what someone can give you or have nothing. I chose to take what he was able to give. Please say a prayer for his healing. Life is full of ups and downs, but you can't appreciate all the good without a few band hands.
