Katie has been such a valuable volunteer to our Whisperwood family, faithfully leading weekly Bible studies and bringing encouragement, kindness, and joy to our residents each week. Her compassionate heart and dedication have truly made a difference in the lives of so many.

Happy National Nursing Home Week and continued Nurses Week celebrations from Whisperwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center! 🤠💙

Today our staff brought the fun in their cowboy attire as we continued celebrating the incredible team that makes Whisperwood feel like home. We were also treated to an amazing fajita lunch with all the fixings generously provided by Beyond Faith, Nathan, and Chris — thank you for your kindness and support of our hardworking staff! 🌮

And the sweet surprises kept coming with a BIG bunch of delicious cookies from Crumbl! 🍪 Thank you for helping make our team feel appreciated and celebrated.

Today we want to recognize Amie and Zisca, Fidel and Ray, our amazing day nurse charge nurses. Long term care nursing takes a special kind of heart, compassion, patience, and commitment — and these nurses show that every single day.

Whether it’s comforting residents, supporting families, leading their teams, or handling the unexpected with grace, they continuously go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to our residents. Their hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are so thankful for the love and dedication they pour into our facility each day!
