You don’t just have tight muscles.

You have fascia.

The connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone, and joint — controlling how you move, how you recover, and how you feel.

When fascia becomes restricted, everything changes:
Stiffness.
Limited mobility.
Nagging tension.
Compensation patterns.

It’s not weakness.
It’s restriction.

Restore glide.
Restore movement.
Restore performance.

Healthy fascia = better movement.

Recover Hard. Move Strong.

Benefits of Cupping + Gua Sha Together

When used together, cupping and Gua Sha amplify results.

They don’t just relax muscles — they restore movement and accelerate recovery.

Here’s why the combo works so well:

• Breaks up deep fascial adhesions
• Improves blood flow & lymphatic drainage
• Reduces inflammation in overworked tissue
• Decompresses tight muscle layers (cupping)
• Releases surface restrictions (Gua Sha)
• Speeds up recovery between training sessions
• Improves mobility & range of motion
• Helps reduce chronic tightness & tension

Cupping lifts and decompresses tissue.
Gua Sha scrapes and smooths restrictions.

Together?
They reset the muscle.

For lifters and athletes, this means:
• Better performance under load
• More efficient movement
• Less compensation patterns
• Fewer nagging injuries

Recovery isn’t optional when you train hard.
It’s strategy.

Recover Hard. Move Strong.

We’re excited to officially welcome to the Grind + Glide team! 💪🏼

Abby stepped on stage in 2023 at the Republic of Texas in Figure and made a statement:

That’s not beginner’s luck — that’s work ethic, discipline, and presence.

Abby represents everything we stand for:
✔ Commitment to growth
✔ Dedication to the process
✔ Strength with grace

We’re proud to support her recovery as she continues to build, improve, and chase bigger stages.

The grind doesn’t stop.
And neither does the glide.

Welcome to the team, Abby!

Stretching is not just about flexibility — it’s about performance, longevity, and injury prevention.

When muscles become tight and restricted, they limit joint mobility. Over time, this can lead to compensation patterns, decreased strength output, and increased risk of injury.

Consistent stretching helps:

✔ Improve range of motion
✔ Increase circulation to working muscles
✔ Reduce muscle stiffness
✔ Support better posture
✔ Enhance recovery between sessions
✔ Improve overall movement efficiency

For athletes, mobility directly impacts power production, stability, and control under load.

If you train hard, mobility work should be part of your routine — not an afterthought.

Recovery is strategy.
Move well so you can lift well.

Book your session today and invest in the body that carries your goals.

Young Athlete Recovery Matters 🏃‍♂️✨

One of my recent clients, Matthew, a 16-year-old track athlete who came in dealing with ongoing leg pain from intense training and meets.

After consistent Gua Sha sessions focused on the muscles taking the most impact from running, he noticed:

✔ Less tightness after practice
✔ Faster recovery between training days
✔ Improved mobility in hips and legs
✔ Reduced discomfort during runs

When athletes are pushing their limits, recovery isn’t optional — it’s part of the performance plan.

Taking care of the body early helps build strength, resilience, and longevity in the sport 💪

So proud of young athletes learning to listen to their bodies and invest in recovery just like the pros.

Recover Hard. Move Strong.

Migraine Sufferers — This One’s For You 🤍

If you deal with migraines, you know it’s more than “just a headache.” The tension, pressure, and tightness can take over your whole day.

✨ Gua Sha + Cupping Therapy can help by targeting the ROOT of that tension.

Here’s how 👇

💆‍♀️ Gua Sha Benefits for Migraines
• Releases tight muscles in the neck, shoulders, and base of the skull
• Improves circulation to areas that often trigger headaches
• Helps break up fascia restrictions that create pulling and pressure
• Encourages lymphatic drainage to reduce inflammation and congestion

🔥 Cupping Therapy Benefits
• Decompresses tight, overworked muscles
• Increases blood flow to bring oxygen and nutrients to tense tissue
• Relieves pressure in the upper traps, neck, and upper back
• Helps calm the nervous system — migraines are often linked to stress + tension

When the muscles in your neck and shoulders stay tight, they can pull on the base of your skull and contribute to migraine pain. Releasing that tension can make a HUGE difference.

🌿 Many clients report:
✔ Fewer tension headaches
✔ Reduced migraine intensity
✔ Less neck and shoulder tightness
✔ Feeling lighter, looser, and more relaxed

If migraines are interrupting your life, your body might not need more medication — it might need release.

📍Come see us and let’s get to the source.

Always consult your healthcare provider for chronic or severe migraines. Bodywork is a supportive therapy and not a replacement for medical care.
