SOMEONE PINCH ME!!!

Pittsburgh National Natural Pro Qualifier 🖤
🥇open class A
🥈figure overall
🌟IFBB PRO CARD RECIPIENT🌟

Finishing off my first bodybuilding season as an IFBB pro has me speechless! This prep challenged me, broke me, forced me to deny myself, my flesh, my desires, demanded sacrifice, and pushed me beyond my limits.
HOWEVER, it also built me, restored my confidence, gratitude, and faith, forced me to rely not on my own strength; rather, fully surrender and boldly trust Gods plan - his abundance, provision, comfort, strength, and blessings overflow. I give God endless thanks praise for every meal, every lift, every step, every breath. This prep is a celebration of his endless blessings. All glory praise honor to him 🤍

My coach, my boyfriend, the love of my life, thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and love through this process. Thank you for your patience, understanding, dedication, and sacrifice in the lows and your outpour of belief, enthusiasm, and validation in the highs. Thank you for stepping in and guiding me as a coach these past 5 weeks to prep me into this national show. Thank you for holding me accountable even when times were hard and always having my best interest at heart. Thank you for being my safe place and comfort in times where my faith and discipline were weak. Thank you for balancing your two roles with such leadership and grace. If all prep did was bring me you, I would have already been the biggest winner. you’re my greatest blessing to come out of this season and i can’t wait to see what the future holds… new IFBB classic pro??? 👀 i love you 🤍

So proud of this girl!! Wonderful first season and ready to see what the next season holds.

That’s a wrap for Season 1✨

Bodybuilding is a tough sport. It breaks you down over and over again and it teaches you many lessons along the way. Learning how to grow from failure is something I wish everyone could experience.

This process taught me to not compare to social media, other categories, the age of the competitors, their background in sports/training, or their training years because all it does is take away the whole point in competing… improving yourself!

Overnight success is rare and honestly not worthwhile, branch warren, one of the greats took 9 years to get his pro card in one of the most competitive divisions at the age of 26, something people don’t talk about.

I was not happy with my physique and honestly a little discouraged but the reality is all we see online are the quick successes and not the long journeys that shape some of the greatest athletes.

The only way to improve in bodybuilding is to take constructive feedback and not seek worldly results. It’s not about a one and done it’s about working towards a goal every single day and pushing yourself mentally and physically beyond your limits.

God gives some of the toughest battles to the strongest soldiers and through all the ups and downs of this prep I’ve grown so much in my character, my faith, and my trust in myself!

This season wasn’t about winning it was about learning as both a first time coach and a first time competitor. Coached/peaked three girls to national qualifying all as true novice while being a full time grad student with research and clinical requirements.

Excited for a real off season building some real muscle, trusting myself and coming back unrecognizable, let’s do this💪🏼

Most people think pain only comes from muscles.

But fascia changes that conversation.

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, joint, and movement pattern in your body. When it becomes restricted, dehydrated, or overloaded from stress, training, injury, or compensation patterns… pain can start there too.

A 2025 study published in Frontiers reviewed 25 years of anatomical, histological, and clinical evidence and concluded that fascia is not just a passive tissue — it can actually be a primary pain generator.

What does that mean?

⚡ Tightness isn’t always “just soreness”
⚡ Old injuries can stay stored in the tissue
⚡ Restrictions in fascia can affect mobility, circulation, and performance
⚡ If the fascia isn’t addressed, the body keeps compensating

This is why recovery work matters.

Gua Sha, cupping, and soft tissue work help:
• Break down adhesions
• Improve tissue glide
• Increase circulation
• Restore movement patterns
• Reduce tension stored in the fascia

At Grind + Glide, we don’t just chase symptoms —
we work to restore how your body moves and functions.

⚡ PERFORMANCE-BASED RECOVERY
⚡ RECOVER HARD. MOVE STRONG.

Help us wish good luck this weekend as she steps on stage at the Pittsburgh Natural Pro Qualifier! 🔥

After dominating her last two shows, she’s stepping on stage more focused, refined, and determined than ever. What makes it even more impressive is everything she’s balanced behind the scenes — finishing the school year, moving, and still showing up every single day locked in on the goal.

Jordyn continues to prove why she’s one to watch. She’s put in the work, trusted the process, and left no detail untouched heading into this prep.

We’re proud to have her representing Grind + Glide and what performance-based recovery is all about.

Now it’s time to bring that package to the stage and go earn what you’ve worked for.

Let’s go Jordyn! Bring that card home! 🥇

Help us wish Grind & Glide Athlete as she steps on stage this weekend at the Pittsburgh Natural Pro Qualifier! 🔥

After absolutely dominating her last two NPC shows and qualifying for Nationals — all while coaching two other athletes to national qualification as well — she continues to prove why she’s one of the hardest workers we know.
The discipline. The sacrifices. The long days. She’s put in the work and stayed locked in every step of the way.

We’re proud to be part of her recovery and prep journey as she pushes toward that next level.

This weekend, it’s time to bring that pro card home. Let’s go, Reva Ann! 🥇

If it keeps coming back… it was never fully resolved.

Old injuries don’t just fade—
they settle deep into your fascia and change how your body moves.

That’s why you feel:
• The same tight spot over and over
• Pain that shifts but never leaves
• Limited range where there used to be freedom
• Strength that feels blocked

Your body isn’t broken—
it’s compensating.

Cupping + Gua Sha target what’s underneath:

🔴 Cupping Therapy
→ lifts and decompresses tissue
→ increases circulation where it’s been lacking
→ brings hidden restriction to the surface

🔧 Gua Sha
→ breaks through adhesions
→ restores natural tissue movement
→ supports faster, more efficient recovery

Together, they don’t just ease symptoms—
they correct dysfunction.

This is about moving better, not just feeling better.

Your body isn’t holding you back… it’s asking for the right kind of recovery.

⚡ Performance-Based Recovery
⚡ Recover Hard. Move Strong.

Cupping marks aren’t random — they’re feedback.

Those circles you see after a session?
They tell a story about what’s happening beneath the surface- circulation, tension, and the areas your body has been compensating.

🔴 Light Pink – Healthy flow
Circulation is moving efficiently. Your body is doing exactly what it should.

🔴 Bright Red – Mild stagnation
Early tension, slight restriction… your body is asking for attention.

🔴 Red → Dark Pink – Moderate stagnation
Reduced blood flow + buildup from training, stress, or overuse.

🟣 Dark Red / Purple – Deep stagnation
Chronic tightness, old injuries, areas that have been neglected.

⚫ Dark Purple / Almost Black – Severe stagnation
Deeper blockage, poor circulation—this is where real recovery work matters.

🟡 Light Yellow / Pale – Recovery phase
Your body is clearing it out and restoring healthy flow.

⚡ This isn’t bruising. This is information.
Your body showing you exactly where it needs work.

At Grind + Glide, we don’t chase pain—
we read the body, break down restriction, restore movement, and optimize performance.

The king also needs recovery. 🤠

No matter how hard you grind… your body still needs to reset.

Because real power isn’t just in the work — it’s in how you recover. ⚡

Recover hard. Move strong.

Recovery isn’t optional — it’s essential.

My client Kaiti has been battling chronic migraines for years, along with deep muscle tension from long-term bodybuilding prep. This isn’t just soreness… it’s accumulated stress, inflammation, and restricted movement in the body.

This is exactly where Gua Sha comes in.

Gua Sha isn’t just “muscle scraping” — it’s a targeted recovery tool that works beneath the surface to restore how your body functions.

Why Gua Sha is needed:
When you’re constantly training, posing, dieting, and pushing your limits, your fascia (connective tissue) can become tight, dehydrated, and restricted. This leads to:
• Reduced blood flow
• Built-up inflammation
• Trigger points & adhesions
• Increased tension (especially neck, traps, and upper back — major migraine triggers)
• Disrupted mind-muscle connection

When the tissue is restricted, your body can’t properly fire and engage muscles the way it’s supposed to — which means weaker contractions, compensation patterns, and higher risk of injury.

What Gua Sha helps with:
✔ Breaks up fascial adhesions and scar tissue
✔ Increases circulation and oxygen flow to muscles
✔ Reduces inflammation and muscle tightness
✔ Relieves tension that contributes to migraines
✔ Restores mind-muscle connection for better muscle activation and control
✔ Improves mobility, flexibility, and range of motion
✔ Speeds up recovery so you can train harder — and smarter
✔ Supports the nervous system by helping the body shift out of constant stress mode

For clients like Kaiti, we’re not just chasing relief —
we’re restoring function, connection, and performance from the inside out.

Train hard. Recover harder. ⚡
Because if you can’t feel the muscle… you can’t fully build it. Book your session today!

Your feet are the foundation of EVERYTHING.

Most people only treat pain where it shows up…
But your body doesn’t work in isolation — it works as a kinetic chain.

👉 Tight feet → affect ankles
👉 Ankles → affect knees
👉 Knees → affect hips
👉 Hips → affect low back & posture

And running through all of it?
Fascia.

That web-like connective tissue that links your entire body together.

When your foot fascia (plantar fascia) is tight, restricted, or inflamed…it creates tension that can travel all the way up the chain.

Why This Matters for Athletes (and everyday movement)

• Decreased mobility
• Poor force transfer (less power)
• Increased risk of injury
• Chronic tightness in calves, hamstrings, hips, low back

You can stretch all day…But if the fascia isn’t released, the restriction stays.

🔥 Where Gua Sha Comes In

Gua Sha (muscle scraping) helps:
✔ Break up fascial adhesions
✔ Increase blood flow to the feet
✔ Restore tissue glide
✔ Improve mobility from the ground up
✔ Reset the entire kinetic chain

When you treat the feet, you’re not just fixing foot pain—
you’re improving how your whole body moves and performs.

💥 Bottom Line
If your foundation is off, everything above it compensates.

Fix the feet → free the fascia → improve the chain.

Recover from the ground up.
