At Moody Neuro Lubbock, brain injury support and awareness are at the heart of our mission. We are honored to partner with patients and their families as they navigate the rehabilitation journey—working together every step of the way.

To wrap up the month, our team came together for a hands-on experience preparing parts of a meal while targeting functional skills such as mobility and household tasks. The day also included time to connect through shared leisure activities, reinforcing the importance of balance in recovery.

We ended on a sweet note with a treat from Frios Popsicles!

Moments like these highlight the power of teamwork, progress, and community. As we move forward, may we continue to recognize and support the resilience of those navigating life after a life-altering injury—not just this month, but all year long.

Join us for this month’s Moody in Motion, where we celebrate the incredible individuals who make a difference every day. Each month, we highlight a team member so you can get to know the people, passion, and purpose behind the work we do.

This month, we’re featuring Ryan, who has spent most of his life in Lubbock and has been a valued member of our Environmental Services Department since 2021. Ryan plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

What Ryan enjoys most about his role is seeing the progress patients make during their time at Moody and knowing he is part of their recovery journey. His dedication and positive impact help support the success of everyone we serve.

Recovery doesn’t only happen inside the therapy gym — it happens in the community. Recently, Moody Neuro LBK participated in a community outing to Yellow City Grind as part of our rehabilitation program.

Outings like these allow patients to practice important real-world skills such as community reintegration, mobility, budgeting, and leisure activities in a supportive environment. These experiences help build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections beyond the clinic walls.
