Taking my own advice a lot more often since becoming a mama 🙃
I recently made a decision without intentionally checking in with myself first. It felt like a thing I *should do* or even like a thing I *had to* do. 😬 so once I had said “yes” I was committed, right?
WRONG. 🙅🏻♀️
After sitting with this “yes” for a while, I realized I was dreading it. My body was telling me I wanted to say “no.” Have you felt this way? So, I did it. I changed my original decision and felt SO relieved. It seriously felt like pounds of stress melted off my neck and shoulders. 🤍
Had I checked in with myself in the first place, I could’ve avoided all that stress and dread. Our bodies know what feels aligned for us. We simply have to listen.
✨ So, I’m offering you a reminder that you can say “no” to things you’ve already said “yes” to. ✨ your truest self will thank you for it.
