Winter along Lake Superior has a quiet kind of beauty - still, strong, and endlessly inspiring.

This is Champagne Quilt- a large throw quilt measuring 60” x75”, finished as a Rosie Girl studio sample.

The pattern was designed by Megan Buchanan of , and this version was created using soft, woven fabrics from Diamond Textiles.

This quilt is now available as a kit featuring these same beautiful woven fabrics.

The faces behind Rosie Girl Quilting

Rosie Girl Quilting has been a part of our lives for quite sometime, growing naturally out of a shared love of quilting and creativity.

What began as something we enjoyed together slowly turned into a small family business. Today, our family is involved in some way almost every day- whether it’s helping, supporting, creating, or simply cheering us on.

We love sharing fabric, tools, and ideas that feel thoughtful and useful, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that values handmade, creativity, and connection.

This adorable pattern is “Classic Hearts” from Such a fun project, you can easily make it up over the weekend! We created this with wovens from ! It has amazing texture and interest I can tell you it washes up SO SOFT 💗

Happy New Year! We wish you all the best in this fresh beginning of the new year. Depending on which thermometer you look at it’s about 10 degrees this morning in Minnesota, so truly a quilting kind of day. The pictured fabrics are part of the full collection we offer of Essex Yarn Dyed and Homespun linens, you’ll find them all in the shop. I love working with these beautiful linen/cotton blend pieces.
