This adorable pattern is “Classic Hearts” from Such a fun project, you can easily make it up over the weekend! We created this with wovens from ! It has amazing texture and interest I can tell you it washes up SO SOFT 💗

Happy New Year! We wish you all the best in this fresh beginning of the new year. Depending on which thermometer you look at it’s about 10 degrees this morning in Minnesota, so truly a quilting kind of day. The pictured fabrics are part of the full collection we offer of Essex Yarn Dyed and Homespun linens, you’ll find them all in the shop. I love working with these beautiful linen/cotton blend pieces. We don’t know about you but…we struggle parting with ALL the quilts. These two beauties are available and will make someone very happy.

Last week we took our last trip up the North Shore for an end of season camping trip. At the last minute I signed up for the Woven Bark Pouch class in Grand Marais. I total trip outside my crafty quilty comfort zone but…so much fun. It took 8.5 hours to create this small pouch. (5.5” tall x 4.74” wide) Fantastic instructor and a great place to learn. If you ever get the chance, sign up for one of their classes. I loved the experience.

We made a trip to Ebenezer Ridges Care Center today to gift a few quilts to residents. Emmett and Adeline had the chance to hand them out to twelve very happy and grateful people.

My Mom, their Great Gramma lived here the last year of her life. She met wonderful people and caregivers that were there not only for her but family as well. Today we were able to pay it forward just a little bit.

Who doesn’t love the flight of beautiful butterfly’s? We watch for the arrival of Monarchs every summer, they never disappoint. This quilt brings us all those happy Butterfly feelings. This is the Buttetflight Quilt pattern from , she used these colors in her cover quilt and we couldn’t resist making it. We have a limited number of kits in the shop, be sure to pick one up before they fly away.
