The Power Behind SurgiShop!
Today we’re celebrating Ingrid Glover on her promotion to Director of Accounting Operations.

Ingrid started with us as an Accounting Analyst. She grew into Head of Accounting. And today, she steps into a Director role. A progression built on impact, leadership, and trust.

With over 10 years of experience in financial operations, she has strengthened our reporting, improved internal controls, and brought structure to complex processes as we’ve grown.

Her next challenge? Scaling our accounting infrastructure to support continued growth, increasing efficiency, reinforcing compliance, and building systems that are as strong as our ambition.

Outside of finance, Ingrid loves photography and oil painting, both rooted in layering and refinement. It’s the same thoughtful approach she brings to her work every day.

We’re proud of your journey, Ingrid. This one is earned 💙

Many teams run into the same wall when trying to secure local agreements: “Your category volume isn’t high enough.”

In reality, the issue often comes down to leverage. When all spend is locked in, there’s little motivation for distributors to offer better pricing.

Even a modest shift in spend can change that equation. It introduces flexibility into the conversation and, in many cases, becomes the catalyst for securing a stronger local agreement down the road.

Does this sound like a familiar negotiation challenge?

Today, our team got a sweet surprise. Donuts and smiles brought in by one of our SurgiShop families. 🍩💙

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we’re reminded that love and appreciation shouldn’t be seasonal.
Showing up for each other matters, whether it’s February 14th or any other day of the year.

Happy Valentine’s Day from our team to yours. 💙

Not every SKU fits into a high-volume pricing model.

In Today's Surginsights video Spencer Geer breaks down what happens when low utilization drives pricing outcomes and why certain items never seem to qualify for better tiers.
Take a moment to watch below.

Many teams hit the same wall when trying to secure better pricing through local agreements: “Category volume is too low.”

What often gets overlooked is how much leverage is tied to where spend actually goes. When every dollar stays in the same place, there’s little motivation for distributors to revisit pricing conversations.

We’ve seen that shifting even a small portion of spend can change the dynamic. It creates immediate savings in low-volume categories and, in many cases, prompts distributors to re-engage around local agreements.

Does this sound like a familiar negotiation challenge for your team?

Sometimes the issue isn’t the product.
It’s how much you’re required to buy.

In this SurgInsights Episode, Autumn Porter, our National Sales Director, breaks down a familiar scenario many supply teams deal with when case quantities and packaging don’t align.

We’re proud to support (GHM) and the meaningful work they’re doing to strengthen health systems around the world. 🌍💙

GHM partners with local leaders and care teams across 14 countries, helping deliver medical supplies, resources, and support to communities that need it most. Through their efforts, more than 1 million lives were impacted last year. A powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together around a shared purpose.

At SurgiShop, we believe supporting organizations like GHM is part of our responsibility to healthcare. Not just supplying products, but standing behind missions that expand access to care and dignity worldwide.

Needing just one or two units for a case shouldn’t mean paying for an entire box.

But in reality, that’s often what happens and the extra units end up sitting on shelves, tying up budget, and eventually becoming expired or unused inventory.
Does this scenario sound familiar to your team?

At SurgiShop, we help teams avoid this by offering the flexibility to purchase by the each or by the box, so spending aligns with what’s actually needed. And if plans change, items are covered under our return policy helping reduce risk and unnecessary spend.

What happens when a case goes perfectly… but the product changes?

In the first SurgInsights short clip of 2026 Spencer Geer , our West Coast Sales Director, walks through a situation many teams don’t realize they’re exposed to until weeks later.

Watch how a backorder substitution can quietly change the outcome.

Backorders don’t just disrupt supply chains. They can quietly impact reimbursement.

When a substitute is approved during a backorder, clinical care may move forward seamlessly. But weeks later, revenue cycle may discover that the substitute isn’t reimbursable and that revenue is already lost.
Is this a risk your team actively tracks?

At SurgiShop, we often help teams avoid this situation by sourcing the original OEM product, even when it’s on backorder, so reimbursement aligns with what was planned from the start.

This is what happens when things don’t go exactly as planned 😄

Not everything flows perfectly, but we keep going. Laughs along the way, and care behind every conversation we share.

Thank you for being part of our 2025. We’ll be here in 2026, helping you make smarter supply chain decisions. 🤍
