We’re shaking things up for the end of the season… introducing the FIRST EVER Uphill New England Leaderboard Vertical Challenge for E-Skimo Skis 🔋⛷️

That’s right — if your skis have electric propulsion, you can join this super competitive vertical challenge!

All UNE partner mountains jumped in on the action and added charging stations at the top!

🚀 KOMs and QOMs are about to get… electrified!!!

Whether you’re cruising past your friends or silently gliding uphill like a futuristic mountain ninja, this is YOUR moment.

Rules:
1. Must be powered by 100% electric stoke
2. Drafting is “strongly encouraged”
3. Extra points for heckling skin-track purists while zooming by! “There’s an e-skimo for that!”

A fun, welcoming community skimo event at Cannon Mountain—perfect for uphillers with a few tours under their skins (not first-timers on uphill equipment).

Two formats:
⏱️ 3-Hour Skimo – As many laps as you want in 3 hours. One or four, your call.

🔥 Full Course – Two laps on ungroomed black diamonds + a bootpack.

‼️UPDATE‼️ Whaleback’s ops team worked hard to open terrain for the event but Mother Nature had other plans. We had to make a call and have decided to move the event to Dartmouth Skiway. Additionally, the schedule has shifted events back one hour:

11am - lightweight demos start
12pm - transition clinics and gear setup
1pm - group tour and optional race
2pm - Chris Bustard Memorial Hawaiian Shirt Relay
2:30pm - fireside chat with .a.sinclair.92

Are you interested in trying out skimo? As of last weekend, the US is sending two skimo athletes to the OLYMPICS in February!! We wanted to bring you a chance to learn how to do those speedy transitions, try out lightweight gear, and do a fun race so you can experience how it feels! And we are so excited to have .a.sinclair.92, USA Skimo team member and world class trail athlete, at the event to do a talk and q&a with you.
