A new month is here, and the spring air fills my lungs with energy. I am digging in the dirt and watching things grow. With the growth comes a desire to purge and to shed things- layers of clothes, things that no longer serve me. I love the unique gifts that each season brings.

I have been revisiting some goals and dreams- as life changes, I change, too. It seems that right as I think I know what I want in life, I second-guess it. Wait to see what comes up next. To see what continues to come up… Ah, there it is. Clarity.

Let’s talk about New Year’s resolutions. Everyone loves them, and most people don’t stick with them! Check out these stats:

A study at the University of Scranton found that that 77% of participants stuck to their resolutions for one week.

After 2 YEARS? A mere 19%.

This is thought to be due to creating overly ambitious goals that rely on motivation alone. And guess what? Motivation is fleeting.

Lasting change requires mindset, focus, and planning. You CAN create change that lasts. And you don’t have to wait until a certain day. You can begin your process today.
