🎉 A huge shout out to our incredible Challenge Bowl team!

This amazing trio made it all the way to the final round, competing in five intense rounds, more than any other team! Their clinical knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork were unmatched.

July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize the unique challenges BIPOC communities face when it comes to mental health.

At Lynchburg, we’re committed to preparing future PAs who understand that mental health care must be equitable, accessible, and culturally informed.

Our curriculum emphasizes social determinants of health, patient-centered communication, and the importance of reducing stigma around mental health, especially in underserved communities.

In PA Medicine, students don’t just listen, they engage. From team-based and problem-based learning to case discussions and modular deep-dives, our curriculum is built around collaboration, critical thinking, and real-world application.

Whether they're working through complex cases or sharing perspectives in small groups, our students are building more than knowledge. They're building trust, supporting one another, and growing as future providers.

The Class of 2025 has entered their final chapter in PA school - the Summative Phase! 🎓

This milestone includes preparing for the PANCE, completing final comprehensive assessments, and presenting their capstone research through posters. After a year of hands-on clinical experience, students now shift their focus to synthesizing knowledge and demonstrating readiness for clinical practice.

We’re proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see what’s next for this outstanding class.

After a year of rigorous didactic training, our students are now out in the field, putting their knowledge into practice, caring for patients, and growing into the compassionate PAs they are meant to become.
