Root Cause is excited to welcome Shannen as our new office manager!! As many of you know, I’ve been a one woman show in private practice for the last 5 years. This past year I found myself overwhelmed and feeling like I wasn’t able to give 100% to all the different tasks. I’m so excited to have Shannen join me starting June 1st!! She is so kind, gentle, funny, and has a huge heart for people and the community we serve! Having her will help to free up some headspace so moving forward we can continue to be 100% present and available for you!! I’m so very thankful to have her!!

This photo feels like a million years ago!! I started in private practice after residency and providing non-profit community counseling for 3 years. Those first few years of practice I got to learn from one of the best doctors in Roanoke and i'll forever be grateful for her guidance and kindness. It inspired me to create a space where patients could feel heard, supported, and taken care of. Now it's time for a new chapter. The mission and vision remain the same as they always will. To provide the best patient care I possibly can while also advocating for you in your physical health journey. Here's to new beginnings and new adventures! ✨
