When thinking about self care, we often jump to things like massages and pedicures. However, when we incorporate self care as an intentional life style and recognize it for the priority it is, it can help to realign mood. An intentional mindful moment can slow the chaos of the day. We are entering the season of magical light shows; free self care. A 10 minute pause each day to lose yourself in a sunset as it happens is the beginning of an intentional practice that helps to regulate mood and reduce anxiety.

Black Acorn Farm is an experiential learning environment focusing on Bushcraft skills, Wilderness Survival, Forest Therapy and Permaculture.

It is the manifestation of a dream two people shared to have a life that is experienced more intentionally.

To live and learn from the land, and to share the knowledge of 20 years of expertise with others in our community. The marriage of bushcraft skills, forest therapy, and permaculture with fresh heirloom produce, specialty meats and medicinal h**p and herbs aligns with an intentional experience we can now share with others.
