Tonight, after being gone for 50 days, we rolled into our driveway.
We are mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted but very happy to be home.

My Mom is now dancing in Heaven.
April 28, 1947- March 10, 2025
As of about 10:00 am this morning pacific time my mom left this realm and entered into her heavenly home.
I am so filled with joy that she is no longer in a place that has sorrow, pain and tears but instead in the presence of her Saviour Jesus Christ. At the same time this place is just not the same without her here
She was full of fire and passion. She lived life to its fullest. She loved fully. Gave generously. Fought passionately for the underdog. Every single second of every single day.
So. It’s not goodbye but see you later. I’m so thankful I can say that with full confidence. I love you Mom.

My wonderful husband made me a bread board for my new hobby of making sourdough bread! It’s made from sugar maple (hard maple). I requested a small, light and thin breadboard! It’s perfect. I LOVE IT.

Over the past few days I’ve been stocking Mom up on things, fixing this , cleaning that, walking Hope and overall just trying to leaving Mom set up as best as I can.
I’m a little nervous leaving her and heading home to another country. I’m unsure because I don’t know Theo it one of this journey she’s in, I don’t know when I’ll be able to come back…there’s just a lot of unknown right now.
But as I’ve seen in the last month, THE God who loves her so immensely, has got this and He has provided beyond what we could have thought or asked for. I mean, the amount of people who are just showering her with love and generosity is incredible…so with that in my heart I fly home in a few hours.
So on one hand, while I’m unsure, on the other hand I’m super excited to go home! Being away for a month is a loooooong time.
