Bold Coast Yoga Samantha, E-RYT 500 Offering 200-hour YTT, classes, and workshops to support optimal well being I've been practicing for 17 years and counting.

Offering 200 and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, workshops, and classes on the Bold Coast of Maine. My classes emphasize my philosophy: "Be kind and present in all you do." I believe that when we are fully present in our bodies, fully present in this very moment, that presence opens us up to the spiritual. I have also learned the importance of self-compassion, and emphasize ways to practice kindness toward one's self. My background includes personal training and corrective exercise, which allow me to teach the asanas (physical poses of yoga) both creatively, and safely. My style is a mix of gentle-yet-challenging, alternating focus between the breath, our experience in the pose, and our alignment. I believe that yoga is for every body, it's just a matter of finding a style that suits you. I'm an E-RYT 500, and Bold Coast Yoga is a RYS 200 and 300, so completing our 200 or 300 hour training will allow you to register with Yoga Alliance. I'm also a Mom, and my daughters are among my favorite teachers, as is my fiance.

Welcome our newest followers! I wanted to re-introduce myself here for those who are new, and update those I haven’t seen lately.

I’m Sam, lead teacher of the 200 & 300 hr Bold Coast Yoga YTT programs, and a Wellness Advisor specializing in movement-based wellness and sustainable habit change. I help people—especially those struggling to maintain consistent self-care—build simple, effective routines that support their body, mind, and overall well-being.

I bring over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer, expertise in biomechanics and posture, and my own personal journey of cultivating wellness and balsnce to my work. Through my Restore & VIBRANT Programs, I provide a science-backed, heart-centered approach that empowers my clients to feel strong, balanced, and thriving in their daily lives.

And yes, I teach “regular” yoga and fitness classes too.

Bold Coast Yoga was nominated for Business of the Year at the Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce! Last night’s Annual Chamber Dinner and Awards was a pleasure to attend, and a great opportunity to remember Bill Kitchen and his legacy.

The banner you see Kyle & I in front of is one of Bill’s quotes, “make here better.” I’ve been reflecting on those words today, and I’d encourage you to explore the idea too- how can we make here better?
