Imagine not knowing that everything is upside down. Were you BORN ALIVE? Many of us didn’t know better… there are unseen posters that use what I call “word magick” … “word trickery”. This is often found in legalese. What you believe something to mean is 100% different in the world of LAW.

Many mothers have unknowingly certified that their precious newborn babies are BORN ALIVE. Signing as the INFORMANT when consenting to obtain a birth certificate for their offspring. FACT: The birth certificate is a legal document.

Why do we receive a Certificate of LIVE birth (COLB) if we were certified to have been born (A)LIVE?

I recently had the pleasure of photographing one of my clients last week. So excited to be back behind the camera after my own photography hiatus since the end of my postpartum year.

As of today - we are awaiting a baby’s arrival. Mama is currently in labor (early stages). 🙌

I booked a location and made this session something special for mama. It’s been a rollercoaster and she deserved a reminder that her path is the journey she’s meant to be on. I’m excited to share even more from this maternity shoot!
