Always be kind to yourself 🫶
You’ll never convince me that six weeks is enough time to recover after having a baby
Six weeks is barely enough time to figure out how to sleep again
Barely enough time to start feeling like your body belongs to you again
Barely enough time to stop crying in the shower because you feel so overwhelmed
No one talks about how deep the healing really goes
It’s not just physical
It’s emotional
It’s mental
It’s your entire identity shifting
It’s learning how to be a mom while trying to remember who you are outside of that
So if you’re months in and still feel like you’re picking up the pieces
You’re not failing
You’re just human
You just brought life into the world
That kind of magic deserves more than a six week timeline
Be gentle with yourself
You’re doing better than you think
