Part-Time/ Full-Time Sales Associate Needed, Hilton Head SC!

A jewellery store in Hilton Head is in need of a part-time/full-time sales associate. There is some flexibility in the schedule, but generally someone would be needed to work three days per week at about 10 hours per day, so around 30 hours per week. Previous sales or jewellery experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay is negotiable and somewhere between $14 and $16/per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

A family in Brighton, on the edge of Boston, is in need of a full-time nanny to care for their two children. The ages of the children are two-years-old (girl) and two-months-old ( boy). The hours needed are 10 am to 6 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, but they can add more hours if needed by the nanny.

Both parents work from home, but will not be micromanaging. They have a loft-like office. The two-year-old loves playing with Legos, running, and hearing stories. As a family they enjoy lots of outdoor time (especially running with the stroller), visiting the local farmer's market and playgrounds, and imagination-based play. The two-year-old has developed an ability to entertain herself using her imagination and household objects. For their discipline philosophy, they try to be respectful when encountering issues. If there is a safety concern, then they intervene physically, such as pulling the two-year-old away from a hazard. Otherwise, they focus on affirming her feelings, being with her physically (in the case of a tantrum), and explaining their reasoning.

They would like a nanny that is reliable, creative, nurturing, engaging, and has previous experience caring for infants and toddlers. Both parents work from home, so a nanny that is comfortable with that is needed. Their home is accessible by bus. This position begins asap.

The duties will primarily be to play with and the routine care of the children. Meal prep and feeding the toddler, helping to introduce solid foods to the baby after 6 months is needed. Ideally, they would love for the nanny to take the children somewhere (playground, library, etc) everyday. In the Fall if they can enrol the oldest in a daycare, then taking the baby with to pick her up at daycare (~10 minutes away via car) 3 days a week will be needed. Some light tidying, such as picking up after the kids after activities, and some family meal prep such as cutting up vegetables for the family dinner is needed. This position begins in August.

Full-Time Infant Nanny in Madison, West side

A family in Madison, on the west side is in need of a nanny to care for their newborn baby girl. The schedule needed is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. One week per month the schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The family enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops or restaurants, relaxing at home watching a movie or doing puzzles, and spending time with friends and family. They enjoy reading books to the baby and listening to classical music with her. The parents work from home. For their discipline philosophy, they believe in consistent limits and boundaries. What those limits and boundaries are and how they are enforced will evolve as the baby grows. Whenever and however she does need to be disciplined, they feel it’s important that she understands what behavior is expected of her and how her behavior deviated from expectations. They believe discipline is not to be done out of anger but out of loving concern for her.

Their ideal nanny would be someone energetic, warm, has a genuine love of caring for infants, is reliable, punctual, trustworthy, tidy, organized, can take initiative, is creative, is a self-starter and can plan the day with age-appropriate activities/outings without needing much direction. They would also like someone who has a lot of experience with newborns/infants and is familiar with developmental milestones and age-appropriate activites. A nanny that is detailed, and able to document the baby’s day in the tracker app is also helpful. Someone who can help with sleep training during the daytime naps is needed.

The primary duties of the nanny will be the routine care of the baby and engaging with her in age-appropriate activities, putting her to sleep for naps or getting her up from naps. The mom may be available to nurse the baby at times but for the most part is unavailable during the work day. Tasks related to the baby, such as the baby’s laundry, washing the baby bottles, preparing baby’s milk/food, cleaning up after the baby will also be needed. This position begins in early April.
