We are now a 90-bed hospital and can grow alongside the community … up to about 200 beds. As a not-for-profit health care provider, all revenue is reinvested to provide advanced medical services and equipment. Madison Hospital is a member of Huntsville Hospital Health System.

This has been one of the busiest years yet for our Emergency Department, with more than 4️⃣5️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ patients seen. 🚑

To help ensure timely service for everyone who needs care, we are in the process of adding 6 new ER treatment rooms, giving us a total of 31. You can expect:

✅ Faster Care: Helping reduce wait times when every second counts.
✅ More Space: Increasing our capacity to serve more patients efficiently.
✅ Modern Comfort: Providing enhanced, dedicated spaces for your care.

As a testament to Madison’s incredible growth, this is already our 5th ER expansion since opening in February 2012! 🚀

Big thanks to these sweet ladies from Huntsville’s Sigma Gamma Rho-Theta Theta Sigma Alumnae Chapter for donating a gift basket to the first baby born at our hospital on Nov. 12 – their sorority Founder’s Day.

New parents Hannah and Jacob Hunter not only welcomed a healthy baby girl, Stella Grace, they also took home some unexpected and much appreciated baby supplies! 👶 💚

For her 3rd birthday 🎂, Hattie surprised our Labor & Delivery team with a donation of new pediatric stethoscopes. 🩺

These precious tools will be used by our staff to listen to the very first heartbeats of our newest and tiniest patients. ❤️

If the old saying is true that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, then a personal visit from Apple must be twice as good for your health! 🍎

Our lovable facility dog made a surprise appearance at our employee flu shot clinic, providing comfort and cuddles for all. It’s hard to get too worked up about a needle stick when you have the world’s sweetest petite black Lab curled up in your lap. 🐶

🩺 Take it from Dogtor Apple: a flu shot is the most effective way to protect yourself and those around you from seasonal influenza.

We were happy to host Representative Dale Strong today for an update on health care in our fast-growing city. 📈

If you haven’t heard, we are in the process of adding 6 new ER exam rooms. This will significantly reduce wait times for the 5️⃣0️⃣,0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣-plus patients who visit our Emergency Department each year. 🚑

🍂 It’s almost Thanksgiving, and we’re feeling grateful for our ever-vigilant Security Officer Irving Cruz. 👮

Irving has the perfect personality for his job – friendly and polite around patients, visitors and staff, but quick to step in when a situation gets stressful or even dangerous.
