We are now a 90-bed hospital and can grow alongside the community … up to about 200 beds. As a not-for-profit health care provider, all revenue is reinvested to provide advanced medical services and equipment. Madison Hospital is a member of Huntsville Hospital Health System.

As the lead CT (Computed Tomography) tech in our busy Imaging Department, Jeff is a stickler about safety. He closely monitors CT dosage and ensures we adhere to all CT and radiation safety policies, every time. ✅

For always putting patients first, we presented Jeff with the HRO (High Reliability Organization) Hero Award. 🏆 Give him a pat on the back!

Last week's global Wave of Light event illuminated our Healing Garden with hope and remembrance. 💚

Families who have experienced infant loss during pregnancy or postpartum gathered together to honor their little ones through music, a moment of silence, and the lighting of candles.🕯️

This meaningful annual memorial reminds grieving parents across North Alabama, and around the world, that they are never alone. 🌎

Our employees aren’t just caring and kind – they’re also committed to patient safety. 🦺

Tina Goodman, lead ultrasound technologist in our Imaging Department, spoke up when she discovered the ultrasound gel we use needs to be marked with an expiration date upon opening. 🖊️

Her vigilance led to a safer ultrasound-gel policy for our entire health system! 💪

Patient safety is at the heart of our ongoing journey to become a High-Reliability Organization.

Thankfully, our hospital is full of safety-conscious employees like Emergency Department RN Audrey Gillman and ER Attendant Payton Latham.

When an ER patient became ill recently while having blood drawn, Audrey and Payton arranged an electrocardiogram of the patient’s heart. The test results indicated a possible coronary artery blockage.🫀

Because Audrey and Payton acted fast, we were able to rush the patient to our Cath Lab for lifesaving intervention.

For always putting patients first, we presented Audrey and Payton with our HRO Hero Award. Nice work! 💪💚👍

To better serve our growing community, Madison Hospital Therapy & Sports Rehab just completed a major expansion of its clinic on our hospital campus.

With much more room than before and a bigger therapy team, patients can get in sooner for expert help with a wide range of conditions including Parkinson’s disease, stroke and post-operative therapy.
