Please join us in congratulating Joshua Sheridan on 15 years of service with MEP Health! Josh started with MEP in 2010 and has been a top-level clinician, consummate team player, and absolute stalwart of the Janesville Emergency Department. He was voted AP Rockstar of the Year in 2023. Over the past 15 years, we have learned an incredible amount from Josh about caring for patients with empathy, placing a perfect splint, and going the extra mile.

Gabrielle Hanlon, an SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital Inpatient Behavioral Health registered nurse, was recently awarded a $1,000 nursing scholarship for continuing education that is partially sponsored by Madison Emergency Physicians (MEP).

The St. Agnes Hospital/MEP Nursing Scholarship, offered through the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, has been given to Hanlon for academic excellence, a commitment to the community, and demonstrating an active interest in pursuing a career in health care.

Recognizing the value of nurses as medical partners to SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital, Madison Emergency Physicians established this endowment fund to support those pursuing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing or certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN).

Hanlon is attending the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Nursing and is currently in their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. She is currently completing year three of four to become a DNP-prepared psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. https://bit.ly/40hfZiQ
