At Sukha, it is hopefully obvious the moment you walk into our doors, that we believe in inclusivity. We take pride in being a safe place for you to be who are and love who you love.
To those in our community who are not white, cisgender, or heterosexual. We recognize this is not just another election. It’s a very scary election that might question who you are, who you love, where you can feel safe, and what parts of your own body you have autonomy over.
We can’t change this election. But what we can do is hold safe space, amplify your voice, be a listening friend, give you a hug, advocate for you when you’re not in the room to do so yourself, and remind you that you are enough.
This presidential election stirs up so much personal trauma for so many. Please consider being a safe space, a listening ear, a supportive friend for those that are impacted the most. We will do what we can in the studio to be there for you.
