The last few months we kind of fell off the wagon. I was going through some hard times physically and emotionally. But, we are back on track. We started last Monday. Kenny is down 10 pounds and I am down 5 pounds. We are doing low to no carbs and high protein. I will share some photos of some foods we ate last week and put what it is under the photo.

Week 19 is done. We are getting back on track! Kenny lost 6 pounds this week and I lost 4! In 19 weeks Kenny is down 58 pounds and I’m down 43!

Week 18….I’m so sorry for the lack of updates! We were renovating a home and then moved into it. So we had been super busy. During that time we didn’t always stick to our new lifestyle diet. Some days it would be so late before we ate so we would grab something quick and easy. Thankfully we stayed active to help burn some of it off. So in the last 7 weeks Kenny gained 5 pounds and I gained 7. I hated even admitting that but I made this page to share our journey and that’s part of it. Life has settled down some and we are getting into a routine and ready to focus on our health. So in 18 weeks Kenny is down 52 pounds and I am down 39 pounds. We are ready to get back to what we were doing. We have some meals we will be making this week that go along with our high protein, low carb low sugar diet. We got this!

Week 11 is done! I realize I skipped last week. We have been very busy between work, keeping up with every day life and getting our new place move in ready. But, we remembered to weigh in yesterday and we have still stuck with our new eating habits.

So in 11 weeks Kenny is down 57 pounds! And I am down 46 pounds! I’m almost to my next small goal!

We have not been able to get to the gym or do our long walks but we have been staying very active. I’m pretty proud of what we have accomplished so far!

My supper tonight. 3oz steak strips, 1 c. Onion and Peppers chopped up, and rainbow cherry tomatoes. Cooked is zero calorie parkay butter spray and onion and herb Ms. Dash. So yummy! 🤤

Week 8 is finished. Kenny is down another 3 pounds. So in 2 months he has lost 46 pounds!
I lost another 2 pounds. I’m now down 35 pounds in 2 months. At first we weren’t happy with what the scale showed but, we are building muscle. And it’s only been 2 months and we have lost so much!

Lunch for today. Chicken breast and cheese on an xtreme spinach wrap with mustard. I also did a half cup of the protein cheese balls. This meal is only 260 calories and has low net carbs and high protein!

Something else I try to do is get in a lot of water. Thankfully for me, water is one of my favorite drinks. But I occasionally like to change it up and by adding flavor. This Welch sugar free strawberry peach is amazing!
