Arcola Creek is honored to receive a meaningful piece of Madison Village history, a foundation rock from the former Madison Freight Depot - now proudly displayed in our inner courtyard.

Despite recognition by the advocacy group Preservation Ohio as one of the state’s 16 most valuable but endangered historic sites, the Madison Freight Depot was sadly torn down in August 2016. Its story and legacy continue to matter deeply to this community, and we are proud to help preserve and share a small part of that history for generations to come.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mayor Sam Britton, Village Administrator Jason Chapman, and his team for entrusting us with this important piece of local heritage.
