I may not be due til March but I am super excited that 2B Mindset and Beachbody have now included a nutrition program for expecting mamasšŸ¤°šŸ»!

Finally no more Pinterest and Google searches to get questionable information on what I should/shouldn’t be eating and ways to cope with nausea, heartburn and whatnot! The program is developed by a registered dietitian nutritionist with experience in the mommy life department as well!

Today we launch the program and in conjunction with Prenatal Barre Blend we’ll be rocking our pregnancies til we deliver!

Not your typical transformation photo...

So often we look for the physical change as a measure of our success when it comes to a healthy lifestyle but often we fail to acknowledge the change occurring on the inside.

This post is a reminder to acknowledge all that I’ve overcome to admire, value and love the person I am and the body I’m in.

It’s about transforming from the inside out and to continue on the journey I’m on to get where I want to be. No matter the setbacks, or the stages of my life or bumps in the road I face.

This leg of my journey I’m focusing on growing a healthy baby, reducing the sciatic, back and hip pain I experienced with my previous pregnancies by not maintaining a steady active lifestyle. I’m not concerned about how much weight I gain nor how often I’m indulging in my donuts! Living the healthy 80/20 lifestyle, taking rest days as often as I need to and just enjoying this joyous miraculous growth my body is allowing me to!

Love yourself and treat yourself with the respect you deserve even if it takes years to get there. We are worth it!

655 šŸ’Ŗ! Yep that’s how many at home workouts I’ve done since 2018! The year I decided I needed to do something about my health and the rut I was in!

How much time ā° do you spend watching tv, sitting on the sofa, scrolling social media, eating out buhhhttt you ā€œdon’t have the time?ā€

I never really exercised for more than a few days before I quit. The sweet spot was 2 weeks of going to the gym even though I locked myself in an annual contract….. It actually started off with a commitment to me after four years of ā€œtryingā€ to lose my pregnancy weight.

While it might feel like a short term sacrifice to step away from the chaos of mom life I promise it’s a long term investment in you and all you do every day. It’s time to change the way you feel about taking time to take care of you. It’s not a luxury it’s a necessity.

Whether you want to join my next challenge group or just want to silently get motivation behind the scenes I’ll find something for you! Something that fits in your schedule and works for you!

šŸ“šThings I’ve learned well mostly accepted over the past two years:

1. Diets never work if you’re in it for the long haul. Carbs, fruits, wine, treats are your friends. We love them so learn how to eat them in moderation.

2. If you have to remove something from your life that you love, IT WON’T WORK. We get one shot at this life & we deserve to enjoy it.

3. You don’t have to spend hours at the gym work to lose weight and feel great. Thirty minutes a day will do the trick.

4. A healthy lifestyle will give you the results you seek IF you’re consistent. Deprivation can only be sustained so long until overindulgence comes into play. Don’t fall into the trap.

5. Last but not least. Love yourself. Treat your body with respect. It does a lot for you. It may not be perfect but it’s yours.

These realizations only came after joining a virtual gym filled with motivated women who showed me these truths! I’d love you to join us- enrollment for November is now open!
