We’re celebrating a big win today—Maddie was just accepted into the University of Michigan’s PA program! 🎉 I couldn’t be prouder of her and the hard work she’s put in while working with us at Associated Obstetrics & Gynecology.
As Maddie moves on to her next chapter, we’re looking for another bright, motivated premed, pre-PA, or pre-NP student to join our team as a medical assistant. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn in a supportive environment, and be part of a team that truly cares for our patients.
If you’re energetic, eager to learn, and interested in women’s health, I’d love to hear from you!

We’re so proud of Hannah, who’s been an integral part of our team at Associated Ob Gyn over the past year—and is now headed to medical school at Central Michigan University! Her dedication to patient care, curiosity, and drive have made a lasting impact on both our practice and our patients.

At Associated Ob Gyn, we’re passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers. If you're a pre-professional student pursuing a path toward medical school, PA, or NP programs, and are looking for meaningful hands-on experience as a medical assistant—we’d love to meet you.

Congrats again, Hannah! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish in this next chapter.

Here are some postpartum tips:

Rest: Try to get as much rest as possible whenever the baby sleeps.

Nutrition: Eat nutritious foods to help your body recover from childbirth and provide energy for breastfeeding.

Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially if you’re breastfeeding.

Accept help: Don’t hesitate to accept help from friends and family with chores, cooking, or looking after the baby.

Self-care: Take time for yourself when you can, even if it’s just a few minutes to relax or take a quick walk.

Connect with others: Joining a new moms’ group or finding online communities can provide support and companionship during this time.

Be patient: Remember that it’s normal to feel overwhelmed or emotional postpartum. Be patient with yourself and give yourself time to adjust to your new role as a parent.

Talk to your healthcare provider: Don’t hesitate to reach out to your doctor or midwife if you have any concerns about your physical or emotional well-being postpartum.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to come together in support of those affected by breast cancer.

Let's honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we've lost. Early detection saves lives, so don't forget to schedule your screenings and encourage your loved ones to do the same. Together, we can raise awareness and work towards a cure.
