Today is National Wear Gray Day, part of Brain Tumor Awareness Month.

In , we come together to support, empower, and amplify the many voices of the brain tumor community. We do this in honor of Mike, Nancy, and Carol's sister Becky Hall Tipp who is battling this disease. The brain tumor experience is full of extraordinary challenges and extraordinary hope – the gray area that falls in between is what drives us, unrelentingly, toward our shared mission to conquer and cure brain tumors, once and for all.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Carol Hall Perry. Not only was Carol a funeral director at Hall Funeral Home, but she was a staple in her community. It has been our honor to work with Swing Lewis and Jolly Arsenault these many years. What a well deserved recognition by the Boothbay Region Cemetery District!

Saturday we held a "Back to School BBQ" fundraiser to help local students with back to school supplies and expenses. A big thank you goes out to those who donated funds, supplies, food and their time:

Hall Funeral Home has matched all the funds raised bringing the total donations to over $1000.

This was the idea of our Tribute Team Member, Will Waldron who we knew would want us to go forward with the event in his absence.

On Thursday, our tribute team member and friend, Will Waldron, was in a terrible accident. We are praying and wishing him a speedy recovery.
