Brooke Simmons is an IBCLC and CPST who is dedicated to families.

Whether it is your first pregnancy, or your fifth, Brooke is here to help you reach your personal breastfeeding goals. Her support is available in person, in your home, which allows you and your baby to feel totally at ease. Services range from position and latch issue resolution, gaining confidence, supply increase, pumping concerns and efficacy, prenatal breastfeeding orientation, and helping you navigate your new breastfeeding relationship.

I just wrapped up all of my continuing education and officially renewed my CPST certification! 🎉 When I became an IBCLC, it was really important to me to also become a certified car seat technician. Helping families not only with feeding but also with keeping their little ones safe in the car is something I truly love. Here’s to another 2 years of doing what I’m passionate about—supporting families and keeping babies/children safe in car seats! 💕

There’s something so special about watching a client’s baby grow up. I’ve known this little cutie since she was itty bitty, and today she helped me with some car seat checks for my CPST recertification. She ran up and gave me the best hug — one I didn’t even realize I needed this morning. Her sweet mama’s hug was just as appreciated. It’s been way too long since I’ve seen them both. Today was a reminder of that! Picture on the left was from 2022 and then a picture from today! Thank you sweet mama B and my princess helper L for helping me today! And also for doing my sign offs!

It’s such a privilege to support first-time mothers on their breastfeeding journeys. This mama is doing an incredible job, and it’s been an honor to be part of her journey. A fun little bonus—her sweet baby and I share the same birthday, so we’re officially birthday buddies!

🎉 Today marks my 44th lap around the sun — still upright, still caffeinated, and still figuring it all out. 😄☕️

And no, before anyone gets excited — this tiny human is not mine. She’s my sweet cousin’s beautiful new baby girl. I snuck away a few weeks ago to meet her and get my baby fix (then hand her back and take a nap — perks of being the cousin, not the parent!). 👶💕

There’s something about holding a brand new life that makes you reflect on your own — like, how did I ever smell that good? And where did that baby skin go?! 🍼✨

Feeling grateful for life, love, and stretchy pants — and ready to take on 44 with laughter, heart, and probably some ibuprofen. 💃💗

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to my bestie Sarah at ! While I was running around volunteering and helping with setup for the Taste of Midwifery event, she made sure our tables were totally ready for everyone who came out. I couldn’t have given my time to without her help. Thanks for being the best friend ever and for making the most delicious macarons I’ve ever had! And thank you for this amazing photo!!

There’s something really special about connecting with another IBCLC. Solo practice can feel a bit isolating at times, but conversations like the one I had with remind me that we’re never truly alone in this work. We swapped stories, shared laughs, and bonded over our mutual love of books—and it filled my cup. Can’t wait for that coffee date soon!
