Today is recognized as international women's day 2023. Today is a profound day to connect with the goddess within and recognize your powers, your magic. You are the creator of humans. We deserve to be celebrated. We've come a long way and yes still a long way to go. Take time to recognize your freedoms, the ones those before you fought for you to have. Thank you to the goddess's that fought the fight so that we, you, me can work, vote, have a voice. And to those women still fighting I recognize you, I celebrate you. I hope to see you win. You deserve the freedom to be seen and heard, to be educated and to have a career, to drive, to decide if you want to marry, want to have children. You serve that if that's what you want. Today I celebrate you, we celebrate you.

Motherhood is a role that affects the world. We are the ones making decisions for them every moment starting at conception for their foundational years.

This means selfishness is not an option. Selfishness is not selfcare, self love. Selfishness is when you make a decision and don’t care how it affects your loved ones and outwards.

When I made the decision to be a mom, I understood that I was responsible for another human and although I would make mistakes along the way, my kids will know every decision I make is with them first in mind and then everything and everyone else. Eating right, no alcohol, meditating, therapy/coaching, and so on. We live in a country where all this is accessible to us. Use it.

When we feel loved, supported there’s no stopping us. Skies the limit on what we can actually achieve.

That was me. Limping my way through the finish line. Nope, I didn’t train. Yes I was in pain. My knee gave out which hadn’t been an issue ever for me before. Likely caused by the demand I put on it compensating for the broken ankle I had been nursing.

Terrible for my expectations
Humbling
Invigorating
My older son showed up towards the end and knowing he was there got me to the finish line. ✨❤️

Sometimes we just need to do it. Don’t question it, just go. I did and grateful I made it to the finish line.
