Freedom Friday! I chose this card for today because I wanted to share a thought. I’ve been pulling cards for the day somewhat irregularly. Yesterday I found myself thinking … “I should post a card every day!” Did you catch the wording? Should. I immediately felt weighed down by that word. I changed that thought to “I’ll post a card when it feels right.” And the lightness returned. Are there any “shoulds” in your life that need to be released?

April Tarot Cards!

XVIII - The Moon

The Moon is about your subconscious fears, represented by the crustacean. It suggests a time to look within and heal all aspects of yourself.

Tarot Tip Tuesday! The Tarot message is to “do the work”. Study, practice, ponder … in whatever area feels right.

But the Tip is to compare these cards. The one on the left is from the Essential Tarot. The one on the right is from the Waite-Smith tarot. The Essential Tarot strips away everything but the pentacles and puts them in a window to the stars. It has a clean, expansive feel. Notice how the Pentacles in both cards are in the same position. They are what’s essential. If you are familiar with the Waite-Smith deck, you can read with the Essential deck. Try it!
