Dr. Tim Quan has over a decade of experience in rheumatology and is committed to bridging the gap between medical knowledge and practical application. Our practice centers around careful listening and building meaningful relationships with our patients. Through this combination of state of the art personalized care and Dr. Quan’s experience and education, Rheumatology Specialists of CT provides outstanding patient care. Dr. Quan received his undergraduate degree from Yale College and his medical degree from State University of New York at Brooklyn. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. After fellowship, he joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine. Rheumatology is a subspecialty of internal medicine focusing on diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases, connective tissue diseases and diseases of the muscle-skeletal system. There are over 100 diseases that are within the scope of rheumatology, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, gout, osteoporosis, bursitis and vasculitis. Our infusion center is an innovative alternative to long waits in cold, impersonal hospitals. It is a place where patients can receive intravenous infusions or therapeutic injections in a safe, professional and comfortable environment. Our goal is to make patients comfortable while we provide caring, customized treatment. There's never a wait at the infusion suite, so patients spend less time in treatment, and more time with family and friends.
