Wow… what an absolutely incredible year I’ve been blessed enough to witness.

Not because it was easy.
Not because it was perfect.

But because women chose to stay.

One year of women walking through the door unsure if they would survive.
One year of sitting in the discomfort instead of running.
One year of learning how to live without numbing.

One year of miracles — yes.
But also times of uncertainty.
One year of trusting what couldn’t yet be seen.
One year of choosing faith on the days it felt fragile.

This year, women reclaimed their lives.
Reunified with their children.
Built careers.
Learned how to be safe with themselves and with each other.

Today we honored the people who help make these homes what they are.
We celebrated two powerful phase-ups, Christina Connor and Camille Jane.

And having our alumni in the room, women who once stood exactly where others stand now, was the reminder that this isn’t a moment…

It’s a continuum.
It’s proof that healing lasts.
That transformation holds.
That women don’t just survive here, they return to life.

One year of Ascension.
And so many lives forever changed 🥹

Vanessa is a true leader in our home: loving, kind, hilarious, and always the one going above and beyond to support the other women. She shows up with consistency, service, and a heart that genuinely cares and she still stays committed to her school work while building a beautiful life in recovery.

Vanessa, your presence brings light, laughter, and safety to this house. We love you so much and we are honored to walk beside you. 💛✨

This week we got to honor Andrea as she completed her time with Ascension, and what a journey it has been!

From the moment she walked through our doors, she brought warmth, light, and a presence that made everyone around her feel loved, heard, and truly seen. Andrea has this beautiful way of speaking wisdom into people without even trying… a nurturing spirit that makes you feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.

She has shown up for this community with grace, humility, and strength and we are so incredibly proud of the woman she has become, what a gift she has been and continues to be 🥹

And the best part?!
Her journey with Ascension isn’t ending… it’s evolving. I’m so excited to share Andrea will be stepping into a new role within our community, more to be revealed soon 🤍✨

What we shared today went far beyond essentials.

This phase isn’t just about structure… it’s about building confidence, learning to trust yourself again, and walking with a little more hope than you had yesterday. And she’s doing exactly that!

🎄✨There was such a special feeling in the Ascension homes this evening 🎄✨

You could truly feel the magic in the air as we celebrated our first Christmas season together 🥹

The holidays can be tough in recovery, being away from family, rebuilding life, and feeling all the emotions this time of year brings.
But tonight, the women came together in such a warm, supportive way. Decorating, laughing, and filling the homes with so much light and connection 🤍

Moments like this are the heart of recovery.
Having Community, feeling safe and the sense of belonging.

I’m really grateful for these women and the love that grows inside the homes 🥹
