Brilliant Mindz always out there showing the love to the Bogalusa community. Mental health is so much more than what goes on in your mind. Love, community, purpose and a full belly can do wonders. Thank you Dana M. Walker and to all of her amazing volunteers and benefactors for taking such good care. We are thankful for you!❤️

Tomorrow our amazing youth members, their families and our volunteers will be serving a delicious hot FREE Thanksgiving meal to our community. You can pickk up a plate for those without transportation. Let’s look out for those without this Holiday season.
Angie, Varnado, Pine…ALL are welcomed

Also, youth members have also purchased winter gear to give out to those less fortunate (gloves, beanies & socks). Children in need and Elderly must be present to get these items.

Spread the great Holiday news! Let’s show love to all and make sure they have a meal.

Our Mid-City Clubhouse clients had such a busy week. Clients decorated bags for the Fishes and Loaves program with our friends at Trinity Episcopal Church New Orleans, choir practice to prep for Christmas carols 🔔, and even had a special volunteer ceramicist to learn how to make their own ornaments. Can't wait to hang these on the Mid-City Christmas tree! 🎄 Special thanks to Ken Harrell and his sister Lisa for giving their time.

Love to see our clients living their best life! 💙

Nurses really can do it all! Ochsner Health nursing staff volunteered their time on the Safe Haven Campus for as they planted flowers for our residential community, started seedlings for the garden, and made a general cleanup across the grounds.

Thank you for choosing to give back for mental health! You really are heroes. 👩‍⚕️💙

It's not quite Christmas time, but students at Pope John Paul II Catholic High School just couldn't wait to gather up donations for the annual NAMI Angels program. We love seeing our youth getting engaged in mental health awareness and giving back to the community. These donations will help to support over 1200 gifts being delivered to local behavioral health facilities so that everyone has a little extra comfort and hope at Christmas.
