✈️ Traveling with Special Needs: My Experience and Tips ✈️

This is a very challenging task that most parents fear: air travel with special needs children. The waiting in lines, dealing with crowds, overstimulating environments, unpredictability, and sitting in one seat for long periods can be overwhelming. But with preparation, it’s possible to make the journey smoother.

From showing my boys videos of planes and airports to using autism lanyards, keeping snacks and activities on hand, and ensuring we had plenty of time, we managed to navigate the journey. And yes, meltdowns happened, but staying calm and patient made all the difference.
