A hobby to share...

After comically failing a self-care survey conducted by my doctor, she really encouraged me to seek out a hobby separate from my career of music education and flute performance. Trying to come up with something I could do that didn’t seem like a chore, I thought of how much I enjoy food (who doesn’t?). More specifically, I LOVE eating bread from our local bakeshop. Using their breads as inspiration, I tried to recreate my own take on some of my favorite combinations so I could have fresh bread whenever I wanted. What started as a means for me to selfishly fulfill my desire to consume fresh bread whenever I wanted, turned into a hobby that I love to share with others. After receiving a lot of encouraging feedback from friends, family, and co-workers, I thought I would do what they suggested, go out on a limb, and sell my favorites to all of you to keep my therapeutic and tasty hobby going. 🥖🌼🍞
