The heartbreaking irony:

These Israeli girls, who were kidnapped, tortured, and r***d by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 massacre, are exactly the same age as the students - the "useful idiots" as Hamas describes them - that have been occupying the American university campuses for months in support of the big lie called "The Palestinian Cause."

Dear students, if you really want to be part of something bigger than yourselves and you really want to make a difference in this world, how about rallying in support of these innocent Israeli girls who were taken from their homes and brutalized only because of their religion and nationality? How about stopping your blind support to Middle East terrorists and standing up for peace - real peace - in the Middle East.

Dear Arab Leaders and World Leaders who have been blaming Israel for launching a retaliatory war on Hamas after October 7, what would you have done differently if you were in Israel's shoes and your people were exposed to such a horrific terrorist attack?

I cannot sleep since I watched the video! I have been crying all day long! How could any human tolerate or justify this?! Shame on you!

You can love and support Israel and still condemn Netanyahu. But again:

This is not "Netanyahu's war".

This is the war of everyone in Israel fighting for their survival. They are heroes, every last one of them.

Nearly 4 percent (!!!) of the country’s population was called up for this war.

Beyond that, there’s the large number of victims and casualties from the initial attack, the many Israelis that needed to be relocated, the large swath of the country in range of regular rocket attacks from Gaza and Lebanon, the volunteers needed to keep businesses running and farms producing, and on and on.

This is not a war of choice, it’s a war of survival that Israelis would be thrilled not to have to fight.

The suggestion that this military campaign is some right-wing adventure or that it’s Netanyahu’s alone is insulting to Israelis, who have banded together to show that their politically divided society can act as one the instant something more important than electoral jousting demands it.

Netanyahu is not denying food and medical aid to dying children.

Netanyahu is not confiscating medical supplies or humanitarian aid.

THIS IS NOT A “ONE MAN SHOW.”

Netanyahu is not perfect, and I do not support him.

HOWEVER!

HE’S NOT Pol Pot, Mobutu Sese Seko, Robert Mugabe, Idi Amin, Slobodan Milosevic or Ratko Mladic.

MAKE YOURSELVES INFORMED!

I am beginning to understand that feeling Doctor, thank you for clarifying what I have been feeling.
My father was born in Kharkov now Kharkiv, fled in 1917 as their house was burning down. Through Yougoslavia to Turkey to France they traveled where they finally settled.
My father refused to go back - ever.
Since the tanks have started to line up on the borders of Ukraine, l have found myself reacting strongly. Now I understand how my family’s trauma has become more vibrant for me in my heart and my body as it is generational indeed. It was tucked away as part of my heritage.
Not all family members we’re able to escape first the pogroms, then the revolution then the holocaust.
Trauma does bridge connection between client and professionals and it does not have to be the same source of pain.
I hope to continue to help others as they make the necessary connections to bravely face their generational constellations.
