Dear Patients, Friends and Colleagues,
I hope you are well and staying home at this unusual time.
First of all, my offices are closed till April 30th as of now. Will keep you updated on further developments.
Second, for all of you who are feeling emotional and physical effects of being in doors and not having enough fresh air and human interaction, I can help. Please do not hesitate to email, text or call if you need just a word of encouragement, want to chat about your food, daily routines and anything else, really. You know that all our conversations are confidential.
We can discuss the concerns that can be addressed right now in the comfort of your home, a lot can be done by yourself. I can send pictures of specific points for acupressure you can perform on your body. We can discuss the food cures and helpful essential oils. My friend and colleague Andrew Sterman in his new book Welcoming Food says: “ In the Ancient Medical Classics, diet is not an afterthought or an entertainment, diet is the pinnacle of all medicines. It is a medicine we are all using daily for life support, and if problems arise, it’s the first and the most important aspect of our lives to adjust. To do this well, a whole new way of thinking is necessary, a flexible mindset capable of making use of the conflicting dietary advice coming at us from all corners. The task is to sort through the many differing viewpoints so that foods can be used as you wish - to make meals more enjoyable, or to embark on a well-informed path of renewal.” I can tell you about simple and useful recipes Andrew offers for immunity support as well as the mood uplifting.
To stay out of trouble please check these guidelines from NYS: https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/protect-yourself-and-your-family-coronavirus-covid19 often.
Dear Patients, Friends and Colleagues, when it is all over we can sit down and share stories, but right now lets roll our sleeves, take a few deep breathes and let us create a reality of health and peace instead of fear and disease.
Best regards
